Browser Wallets

Browser wallets — MetaMask, Rabby, and others — live as extensions that inject a wallet into every web page you visit. They are the default gateway to DeFi, NFTs, and on-chain apps.

WalletConnect extends the same model to mobile: a dApp on your laptop sends signing requests to a wallet on your phone via an encrypted relay. The browser is no longer the only host.

Browser wallets are powerful because they meet apps where users already are. That same reach makes them a prime phishing target — always verify the site URL before connecting or signing anything.
