Chapter 7
Mobile Wallets
Mobile wallets put signing in your pocket. They scan QR codes, handle deep links from apps and websites, and often use biometrics instead of typing a password every time.
That convenience comes with mobile-specific risks: malicious apps, clipboard snooping, fake wallet downloads, and push-notification phishing that mimics real transaction alerts.
Many users keep a mobile hot wallet for small amounts and daily interactions while reserving hardware or desktop setups for larger holdings. The phone is a great signing tool — not always a great vault.
